The Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development, Tumiso Rakgare has appointed Marumo Morule as the new Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) chairperson.

The former Botswana Softball Association (BSA) president takes over from Professor Martin Mokgwathi who has been holding forte on an interim basis, since Solly Reikeletseng stepped down in January.

The board is appointed with immediate effect for a period of four years.  Morule has also served as the chairperson of the Local Organising Committee of the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) and as former vice president of Zone VI softball.
