Interim Zebras coach, Mogomotsi 'Teenage' Mpote has turned to veteran striker, Joel Mogorosi for more fire upfront, after Orapa United forward, Omaatla Kebatho's unavailability.

hThe Zebras are preparing to take on Angola in the final Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Francistown on Friday, searching for a consolation win in the campaign.

The national side is winless in five matches, and anchor Group I with just one point, and out of the reckoning for a place at this year's tournament, which Egypt hosts in June.

Mpote had called up Kebatho when he announced his squad last week Thursday, but the forward has since cited academic commitments for his unavailability.

In comes Mogorosi, the league's leading goalscorer with 15 goals. His exclusion had left many surprised, but Mpote explained that he was leaning towards younger players as part of Botswana Football Association's wider development program.

Lebogang Ditsile has also been ruled out, although a replacement had not been named by Monday afternoon.
