Marumo recently singled out the 2011/12 season as the worst in his entire football career because of an injury and a disagreement with the Bay United chairman that robbed him of consistent game time. Relations with his boss went sour and the player was sidelined in the second half of the season and fears it could have been because of being at odds with his boss. But Mooi said: "As far as I am concerned, Marumo still has a running contract with us and we intend to keep him. We are waiting for the (Premier Soccer League's) ruling either today or tomorrow. For now, the team has not yet started training, but they will once we get the ruling."Marumo is still in the country after his club extended their off-season holiday due to the ongoing case in which relegated Dynamos complained against them for using an allegedly foreign player registered with a South African ID.
The case in which the Limpopo-based club's survival in the NFD hinges has been postponed twice. The PSL scheduled the case for yesterday (Thursday) and Umlilo has told players to wait until a judgment is passed. The former Premiership club, Bay United, have been charged by the league following Dynamos' complaint that they registered a player under the name and said of Matlou Realogoboa, although the player is allegedly a foreigner. At least four matches could be affected. Dynamos made the complaint after they finished in the bottom two of the NFD. Marumo only featured in eight first half league matches before picking up a hamstring injury while playing against Thanda Royal Zulu in South Africa's National First Division.
