Gaborone United has reacted angrily to reports that coach, Madinda Ndlovu, who is hospitalized, has passed on.

Social media was awash with reports that the Zimbabwean coach had died on Tuesday. But GU spokesperson, Romeo Benjamin said the reports were unfortunate, as the coach was recovering well after collapsing in training three weeks ago.

"Look, this fake news are very unfortunate. Madinda is hospitalized at GPH and responding well to treatment. Such behaviour (of circulating fake messages) is criminal and we would be engaging with the authorities to conduct some investigations," Benjamin said.
