Off to Spain: Lottering

Former Under-17 national team player, Ocean Lottering is leaving the country tomorrow for a two week training camp with the youth academy of the Spanish football giants, Barcelona. The camp runs until Sunday July 31.

The player’s manager, Kirk Lottering told Mmegi Sport they had to raise funds through various initiatives to ensure Lottering horns his skills with one of the world’s top clubs.

“We raised P13 000 for Ocean’s trip through different campaigns such as dance diners,” he said. The young player also played a role in raising funds through juggling sessions he did.  “We opted for Barcelona because Ocean and his team Gaborone Football Academy (GFA) have a playing style similar to the Spanish champions, so he will gain more experience with their type of play,” said Lottering.
