Local Transfer Window Extended

Botswana Football Association (BFA) on Friday extended the transfer window up to September 9. The initial date for the closure of the transfer period was last Friday.

The BFA however heeded to a request by the Botswana Premier League (BPL) to extend the date following a period of uncertainty towards the end of the 2015/16 league season.

The season took longer than initially expected because of an issue involving bitter rivals, Township Rollers and Mochudi Centre Chiefs.
