Former England and Liverpool star striker, Robbie Fowler is expected to visit Botswana, although the date is yet to be confirmed.

Fowler would be in the country as a Barclays English Premier League legend. He will be the second English and Liverpool star to visit Botswana in recent times after John Barnes’ visit last year.

Fowler posted a brief video on the Barclays Africa Facebook page about the impending visit although a date is not mentioned. “Hello Botswana, my name is Robbie Fowler. Barclays is bringing me to your country. I can’t wait to see the sights, watching football matches and meet you the incredible, fantastic football fans of the Barclays Premier League. See you soon,” said the Liverpool legend in the brief video.
