Kutlwano, Mafolofolo in Capital Motors finals

THEBEPHATSHWA: Women's volleyball defending champions, Kutlwano narrowly beat Kalavango 3-2 in the Capital Motors Volleyball Cup semi-finals on Saturday at Thebephatshwa.

The win sees them through to the cup finals, where they defend their trophy against rivals Mafolofolo who beat BDF VI 3-0 on the same day. The finals have been scheduled for Otse this coming Saturday. However, the first semi-final between Kutlwano and Kalavango,  demonstrated both teams' agility as they fought to the bitter end.

Kutlwano's win was no stroll in the park as Kalavango have always been one of their toughest opponents. Kutlwano entered into the semi finals missing some of its key players who are writing exams, whilst their coach was also not present for some undisclosed reason. The absence of key team members was felt in the second set where Kutlwano lost 25-19.
