Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) Executive Secretary Kitso Kemoeng has emphasised the need for empowering and developing coaches with professional skills saying it is the only way sports can develop.

He stressed that coaches have to go through different levels of training to keep pace with developments. He was speaking at the on-going Botswana Boxing Association (BoBA), level four coaching course that started yesterday. He said there is a reason to have experienced coaches in a variety of sports to guide athletes to perform better.
