A silly mistake by Notwane goalkeeper Botlhe Moralo on the hour mark earned BDF XI a point as they rallied from 1-0 down to earn a 1-1 draw in a league encounter played yesterday afternoon at the SSKB Stadium.

Moralo handled the ball for more than the stipulated six seconds and referee Kebafhilwe Ratshipo imposed the penalty of the offence awarding BDF XI an indirect kick just on the 18-yard area outline.

From the free kick, Mokgathi hit a low drive that took a slight deflection on the Notwane wall before beating Moralo to make it 1-1. Toronto, who had an upper hand throughout the first half, were the first to draw blood on 12 minutes through Kenamile Mani after a goal melee had ensued. They continued to control the game after the goal displaying a superior tactical discipline that left the army side chasing shadows throughout the first half.
