Kalavango target strong first round finish

Kalavango is placed fifth with two games before the break, while other teams are left with one fixture.The side stands a good chance of finishing second in the rare scenario that defending champions, Mafolofolo, slip up.Kalavango have collected 20 points and will end the first round with 26 points if they win against Spartans and Magstimela. Spartans have three outstanding fixtures against Spiking Stars, Prisons and Kutlwano. Log leaders Kutlwano, have 27 points- just two points ahead of last year's champions, Mafolofolo.
In the men's league, there is only one fixture in the first round remaining between Kalavango and Magstimela. Botswana Volleyball Federation (BCF), vice president, George Keotsene is impressed by the way the competition has gone in spite of a few challenges. The league started a few weeks late due to a delayed Special General Assembly which paved way for the start of the competition.
