Indian cyclists fight AIDS

Three top Indian cyclists arrived in Botswana last week to raise funds for the needy and help fight HIV/AIDS.

Their visit, dubbed World Tour on Bicycle, started late last year in Tanzania and would end in eight months' time. The cyclists are Manjunatha Bheerajh - the group leader - Gin Nandeh and Srinivasa Raju.

"Sport is an effective tool to curb the HIV/AIDS pandemic that has hit hard most African countries," said Bheerajh.
