Ill-health forces Setete to quit Rollers

Township Rollers' general manager Phutego Setete has said he left the club as a result of his waning health. Setete joined Rollers last year and, according to him, was to leave office in April to start chemotherapy.

Last week he was implicated in the ongoing scandal after ticket stubs and old web tickets were found in his office. This was after police raided the Rollers office as investigations intensified.

He was allegedly found with extra tickets that were unaccounted for from the Rollers-ECCO City Greens game played on December 21. The tickets were given out as back-up in anticipation that the game would attract a bigger crowd.
