Zebras’ coach, Peter Butler says he now has a settled squad after months of experimenting with new faces.

Since taking charge in February last year, nearly 100 players have been called up for national duty.  However, speaking a day before departure to Uganda this week, Butler said he has finally identified his team.  “I now have a settled team. I know what I want from this team,” Butler told Mmegi Sport. The Zebras do duty against Uganda tomorrow in the opening Group of 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.  Butler is under pressure to impress after a below par performance at the COSAFA Senior Challenge where the Zebras only managed one victory.

The Zebras are in what appears a manageable, but tricky group that also includes 2013 runners-up Burkina Faso.
