How Notwane escaped with a light fine

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) Disciplinary Committee has fined Notwane P4,000 after they were found guilty of taking a football matter to court, a sentence largely viewed as a slap on the wrist.

According to the judgement delivered last week Thursday, Notwane received a lighter sentence as they had made efforts to get the BFA to listen to their case.
