Horrific injury exposes shortcomings

Shortage of suitable facilities continue to present a challenge to the Debswana First Division South League matches, secretary, Sidney Magagane has said.

This follows an incident in which Broadhurst United striker, Mmoloki Lenamile suffered an injury and it took close to 20 minutes before he could be assisted.

The incident took place in the second half of the tie between Broadhurst and Notwane on Saturday as Lenamile was tussling for an aerial ball. His side’s medical team tried to assist only to realise that the injury was serious and the player had to be taken to the hospital.
