The Botswana Hockey Association (BHA) is facing an all too familiar scenario as it struggles to prepare national teams for upcoming assignments.

BHA is facing a financial crisis, which has forced the national team to cancel December training camps.

“Players in provincial teams failed to report for the December camp where we were supposed to start the selection of players, but we could not because of funds,” BHA chairperson, Unaswi Matebu said.
