FRANCISTOWN: BR Highlanders have displaced TAFIC at the summit of the Debswana First Division North League table after their 1-0 home win against ECCO City Greens on Sunday. TAFIC, who were sitting at the top before the weekend matches, had to come from behind to salvage a 1-1 home draw against a stubborn Real Movers.

After the weekend, Highlanders and TAFIC are both on 23 points and 12 goals, while Motlakase Power Dynamos are on the duo’s tails with 22 points and 10 goals following a 2-0 home victory against struggling FC Satmos.

A first half penalty ensured Highlanders went home with the three valuable points in a tightly contested affair in Mahalapye.
