Botswana Basketball Association (BBA) public relations officer James Kalebwe was equally surprised by the huge turn up at the event. He said the league games usually have low turn out and therefore did not expect such crowd at the All Star event. Kalebwe said the event has been used to create awareness about Basketball and hope they will attract big crowds in league matches as well.

The two-day event comprised of competitions such as dunking, three point shoot out and All Star matches for both women and men. Players entertained the crowds with some of the finest basketball skills. Churchill Barrows won the dunking competition after he successfully completed his session. He also managed to win the three point shoot out.
