O organisers of the annual Botswana Independence Half Marathon are not leaving anything to chance to ensure an incident free race, which is scheduled for the University of Botswana Stadium tomorrow.

The marathon comes just seven days after the Gaborone Mayor’s marathon saw athletes get lost along what was described as a poorly marked route. Registration was also done at the 11th hour.

Now the organisers of the half marathon want to avoid a repeat.
