Extension Gunners carried their impressive run in the league to the Coca-Cola Cup where they swamped Jwaneng Comets 5-1 at the Molepolole Sports Complex on Sunday.

The few Gunners' fans who turned up for the clash between the two Premier League sides got their money's worth as Mapantsula played well throughout the duel. As early as the sixth minute, Gunners threatened when Ofentse 'Schalkwyk' Mmipi turned the defence but shot straight at veteran Comets' goalkeeper, Boemo Willie.

Six minutes later, Maano Ditshupo cleverly came through from deep to execute a powerful header from a Monageng 'Mnike' Thaele's curling corner kick but his effort came off a Comets' defender.
