GU To Appoint Coach This Week

Gaborone United (GU) are set to announce head coach this week with former Zebras mentor, Stanley Tshosane and Under-20 coach, Dragojlo Stanoljovic emerging as front runners.

The post became vacant towards the end of last season following the departure of Rodolfo Zapata. News emerging from the GU camp is that Stanoljovic, who had a short stint with the club in 2015, eyes a return following his release from Township Rollers where he served as a technical advisor for a year.

The Serbian will, however, compete with Tshosane, who has not been active. Preference is said to lean on the latter by the club’s management, but it would take an uphill battle to convince him to return to coaching.
