GU overcome Gunners

Gaborone United (GU) ended the first round of this season's be MOBILE Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Extension Gunners. The game was played at UB Stadium on Saturday.

The game started with Gunners trying slightly dominating proceedings but were thwarted by young goalkeeper, Goitseone Phoko.

Phoko was making his Premier League debut. GU did not take the threats lying down and Kgololo Kgogobi made the first attempt at goal in the 16th minute. Gunners goalkeeper, Moatlhodi Ndana pulled a save. GU had another chance to score through Tebogo Sembowa in the 27th minute but Gunners defence was able to clear the danger.
