The Botswana Handball Association (HAB) president, Ignatius Onyewadume says the grant they receive from the government is too little, which hinders the growth of the sport.

HAB has previously stated a desire to be included in the  Botswana Integrated Sports Association (BISA) programmes in an effort to help grow the sport.

But funding has proved to be the stumbling block.
