FRANCISTOWN: The city leadership has promised massive support for the Zebras when they play against Mauritania in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier next week Saturday, despite the slow sale of tickets.

The Zebras are scheduled to arrive here on June 6, 2017 from their trip in Morocco and with their opponents landing two days later. 

Addressing journalists this week, Francistown mayor, Sylvia Muzila said the city is already excited that the Zebras is returning to the Francistown Sports Complex. She said the Zebras alone are motivation enough for the football lovers and whenever the national team goes to Francistown, the excitement builds.
