FRANCISTOWN: The Francistown Regional Football Association (FRAFA) will hold its first ever women’s awards on Saturday.

The awards, which will be sponsored by Nortex, come after the just ended FRAFA league in which Francistown United were crowned champions.

The northern region women’s league was launched early this year with a mandate to support women in football, but only six teams were registered, according to FRAFA chairperson Desmond Jenamo.
