Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) public relations officer, Charles Keikotlhae has become the fourth official to resign in the last week, after tendering his resignation letter yesterday.

Keikotlhae was appointed to the post in January. His resignation comes a week after BAA president, Moses Bantsi, his vice, Ronald Masalila and secretary general, Kebaitse Legojane also quit.

BAA affiliates had passed a motion of no confidence on Legojane, but the move failed to garner sufficient votes and in what was seen as a protest, the trio then resigned.  Keikotlhae told Mmegi Sport yesterday that the prevailing situation at BAA forced him to quit.
