Local football fans thronged the National Stadium in Gaborone on Saturday to watch the testimonial match for retiring former Botswana international, Diphetogo ‘Dipsy’ Selolwane.

The match involved South Africa Premiership side, Platinum Stars and Selolwane’s club, Gaborone United (GU).

The event was scheduled to take place two years ago, but was postponed because it clashed with the fixtures of the defunct Coca-Cola Cup.
