First Division contest shifts to second spot

With Jwaneng Galaxy virtually assured of automatic promotion to the Premier League this weekend, focus now turns to the race for the play-off spot.

Galaxy need just one point from the last two matches to finish top of the First Division South League and clinch qualification after beating relegated Gantsi Terrors last weekend.

The star-studded side has been doing well following the merger of two Jwaneng teams - Jwaneng Comets and Blue Diamonds. They registered several key players from the Premier League teams like Boitumelo Mafoko, Musa Ohilwe, Thebe Maiketso and Tebogo Sosome. This weekend, they visit struggling Black Peril of Tlokweng hoping to seal promotion.
