Fighters wait for title

If the Med-Rescue Premier League games were not postponed over the long weekend, Mogoditshane Fighters might have emerged as the champions for the southern region.

Fighters were scheduled to play against Young Strikers on Saturday and a point would have seen them wrap up the title and make a quick return to the Mascom Premier League after a year in First Division soccer. With 44 points, the Mogoditshane side still has three games to go.
