Fabrice Muamba spends 'comfortable' night in hospital

Fabrice Muamba had a "comfortable" night (Monday) in hospital as he continues his recovery from a cardiac arrest, according to a statement on the Bolton website.

"Fabrice Muamba has had a comfortable night in the intensive care unit at the London Chest Hospital where the medical team is continuing to monitor his progress," read the statement.

Muamba has been able to communicate with members of his family, who expressed their thanks to the public in the statement: "Fabrice's family has asked us to thank everyone again for their thoughts and prayers and for the continued messages of support, from which they draw great strength."
