Emotions are high in the professional boxing fraternity as a motion of no confidence was passed against Professional Boxing Association of Botswana (PBAB) secretary general, Willoughby Kemoen during an ordinary general assembly held at Yarona Lodge over the weekend.

The decision was agreed by the affiliates during a response to PBAB president, Shakes Kebualemang’s address.

Speaking to Mmegi Sport yesterday, Kemoen said reasons for the motion do not hold water. He said the motion should have been tabled 14 days before the meeting as per procedure. He said it was also to be included in the agenda of the meeting.
