Yesterday ECCO spokesperson Israel Ontiretse confirmed that the Orapa side has requested to open negotiations with the player with a view to signing him. “He is still contracted to the club for another season. However, we will not stand in his way if he get a suitable offer,” said. Ontiretse added that Mambo has pledged loyalty to ECCO as long as they delivered on some of his demands.
Despite relegating from the premier league last season, the club spokesperson said they do not anticipate mass exodus of players.
