FRANCISTOWN: Sowa Flamingoes’ unbeaten run in the Debswana First Division North league came to a halt when they lost 2-1 to visiting ECCO City Greens in an encounter played in Sowa on Sunday.

Flamingoes, who are making a return to the First Division North, were unbeaten in six games before their weekend loss. The Sowa outfit has won five games and drew one scoring 11 times and conceding three goals.

The club’s public relations officer, Masego Taziba said they are not bothered by the defeat.  He said it would not derail them, but instead use it to their advantage.
