SELEBI-PHIKWE: At least 60 golfers are expected to take part in the seventh edition of the Dr Kim Golf tournament this weekend.

The tournament is held as a way of remembering one of the first members of the Francistown Golf club, Dr Chong Kim who came to Botswana in 1969 and worked as a doctor in Francistown. The late Dr. Kim’s family sponsors the tournament in memory of their late father. The tournament is sanctioned by the Botswana Golf Union.

Phikwe Golf Club chairperson, Harold Van Zyl said preparations for the tournament are at an advanced stage. He said more than 60 golfers countrywide are expected to take part in the tournament.
