The Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) continued with its development initiative to introduce at least 20 government schools per year to the sport. BCA to date has registered 60 government schools in its programme that targets children aged between eight and 13 years.

By February, the association had introduced eight more schools to its development programme. Four were registered in March, bringing the total to 52 with about 3,281 children involved.
