Commonwealth boxers� Venezuela trip flops

The boxing team, which will represent the country at the Commonwealth Games has failed to travel to Venezuela for a training camp. The Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) said the trip failed because the government has not released funds for preparations for the Games. The Games take place in Glasgow, Scotland next month.

The boxing team recently returned from a tournament in South Africa and was supposed to leave for Venezuela last Wednesday. 

From Venezuela, the team was expected to head straight to Scotland on July 17.
