Club spokesperson, Archibald Ngakayagae told Mmegi Sport yesterday that they have told everyone including the players that it is very important to return to top-flight football. He said that as the only club in the higher division in their region, they are not only representing the mining town of Jwaneng but the whole of Kgalagadi District.
"We want to start mobilising fans and encourage them to support the club. It is difficult to run a club in the Premier League since there are no sponsorships. Clubs rely on gate takings and we would like to encourage supporters in nearby villages to attend our games," he said. He stated that they have recruited a number of players who will be very vital in the clubs' fight for a return to the Premier League. Some of the players are the BMC duo of Shepard Mosekgwa and Bobo Motlhalane. "We have also recruited a striker, Mornie Dorsie from Blue Stars.
