Choppies dangles P1 million Olympic bounty

Choppies Group has announced the biggest incentives for athletes participating at this year’s Olympics, dangling a whooping P1 million for gold medal winners.

The Olympic Games take place from August 5-21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Choppies group chief executive officer, Ramachandran Ottapathu made the big announcement at a press conference in Gaborone yesterday.

Ottapathu said the gold medal winners will pocket P1 million cash prize each, silver medallists P500,000 while third spot guarantees a still handsome P250,000.
