The reigning Mr Zimbabwe beat competition from 13 other competitors to win the cash prize of P5 000 and supplements worth P5 000. The competition was divided into two categories of junior men of under-23 and the seniors.
The Gaborone Classics started with the youngsters battling it out in front of judges. Some of the junior men were making a debut on stage and they stood in an array of poses in an effort to impress the judges. The competition was getting tougher and the judges cut down the contestants to the top 6.
