Chiefs Shine At Premier League Awards

The 2007/2008 Mascom Premier League champions Mochudi Centre Chiefs were the stars of the night on Saturday when they walked away with P145, 000 with three of their players going home P5, 000 richer each during the league awards ceremony.

Chiefs won P120, 000 for being champions and were once against awarded P25, 000 for winning being the best-supported team after beating Extension Gunners.

Goal-poacher Oteng Moalosi was voted the Best Player of the Season after outclassing fellow teammate Given Mpundu and Master Masitara of Nico United. Noah Maposa got the Best Goalkeeper of the Season Award, a position he competed for with Raphael Nthwane of Flamingo Santos. Jerome Ramatlhakwana jointly won the Golden Boot Award together with Masitara.
