FRANCISTOWN: The Botswana Softball Association (BSA) and Botswana Fibre Network (BoFiNet) have opened talks over a new deal, with the current sponsorship in its final year.

The two signed a three-year deal in 2016, with BoFiNet sponsoring softball for P1.7 million.

Their initial involvement was in 2014, where BoFiNet sponsored for P1.7 million. Next season, which finishes in March, marks the end of what has been a successful union. BSA and BoFiNet have already opened talks to renew the relationship. BSA president, Tirelo Mukokomani said negotiations are progressing well. “Negotiations have started and are at relatively advanced stage. That is all we can say for now,” Mukokomani said.
