BRU targets Old Naledi youngsters

After Tlamelo Vultures' good finish at the Caldy International Under-13 Rugby Club Touraid festival held in the United Kingdom (UK), the Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) has embarked on a development programme aimed at developing youngsters from Old Naledi.

The team that participated in the UK tournament finished an impressive sixth out of 16 teams despite the fact that they were the youngest team comprising players who are aged 10 and below.

Speaking to Mmegi Sport, development coach Zilwele Khumalo said the development programme would be aimed at Under-13 boys and girls in Old Naledi primary schools.
