Local rider, Ross Branch has said that he will take each race as it comes as he eyes to win the National Offroad Championships by the end of the year.

Branch proved once again that he is the king of the desert when he won the 1000 Desert Race here over the weekend. Branch who also won last year’s event ensured that he remains at the top with two more races left before the end of the year.

He beat South Africa’s Kenny Gilbert  and Brett Swanepoel who finished in second and third positions respectively. “It was a very good race but also tough.
