BPL confident of sponsorship deal

The Botswana Premier League (BPL) and the league's title sponsor, beMOBILE, are yet to begin negotiations with only four months remaining on the current deal. The two parties signed a new three-year agreement worth P24 million in 2011, but are yet to kick start negotiations for a new deal.

BPL chief executive officer, Bennett Mamelodi, said they hoped to meet with beMOBILE representatives before the end of the month.

He is confident that a new deal will be in place before the end of the season despite the little time left.
