Botswana Senior Treble Triumph Over Singapore Netball

The Botswana senior netball team’s third and final win over the Singapore senior national netball side ended the Asians’ one-week tour of the country yesterday. The netball giants arrived in the country last Monday and played couple of friendly matches against Botswana national team sides.

They kicked off their tour with a friendly match against the senior national team last Wednesday and captain, Portia Rasekhumba led the local side to a comfortable 44-32 win.

On Friday they took on the national Under-21 side and the visitors redeemed themselves, winning by 37 to 34. On Saturday, Singapore team played the senior national team once again and the local side completed their double over the visitors with a 33-26 win. Notable faces including Tumisang Bagidi and Rasekhumba led Botswana team.
