Botswana favourites in Mini-Cricket World Cup

The Botswana installed itself as favourites to win the World Group Mini-Cricket World Cup after thrashing South Africa by 120 runs at the Gaborone Cricket Club (GCC) on Wednesday night.

Botswana batted first and scored 215 runs for six. This proved insurmountable as South Africa crumbled to 95 all out in the 30 Over game.

Botswana's, James Moses was named man-of-the-match after he hit 65 runs. His runners up were team mate Abdul Patel with 56 runs and South Africa's Brandon Blamyre with 51.GCC chairman, Sumod Dumodar said he is impressed with the way Botswana is performing so far. He said the team is improving with every game.
