National Sport Associations (NSAs) are racing against time to submit their financial reports for 2019/2020 as Botswana National Sport Commission’s (BNSC) threatened to hold their grants.

 BNSC chief executive officer, Falcon Sedimo reminded affiliates, through a memo, that the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development (MYSC) emphasised the need for compliance.

“NSAs are expected to have submitted annual reports for financial year 2019/2020. We, therefore through this circular advise all NSAs who have not submitted the annual report for 2019/2020 that we would not be able to approve any of their financial requests until they have submitted,” reads the statement.
