BNOC, BNSC's tardiness irks BDF

The Botswana Defence Force (BDF) accuses the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) and the Botswana National Olympics Committee (BNOC) of delaying feedback over the reduction of army-supported teams in sports.

The BDF first engaged the two sports bodies in 2010 seeking the best way to handle the matter of reducing its involvement in sports. The army has reduced the number of teams under its jurisdiction.

BDF sports director, Montwedi Simon said both the BNSC and the BNOC do not seem to take the issue seriously.
