Abia Bleskit drew inspiration from his brother, Arnold, who is a tennis player. He has made strides in tennis and last weekend, the 14-year-old won the Under-14 Motor Centre Botswana Junior Open tournament to underline his rise.

Young Bleskit said the performance during the Botswana Tennis Association (BTA) organised tournament has given him hope to keep up the hard work. He said his goal is to balance sport and his education so that he excels in both fields.

 He said his family and coach have been very supportive.
